Glen E. Meynardie, a native of Bayou La Batre, Alabama, is a choreographer, educator, and former professional performer with more than 30 years of experience in the dance industry.

His performance credits include Disney’s The Jungle Book at Animal Kingdom, Disney-MGM Studios’ Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, the USA Network series Mortal Kombat, Celebrity Cruises with Opryland Productions, and concert dance companies in New York City and Washington, D.C. He has performed works by renowned choreographers including Donald McKayle, Shen Wei, Mark Haim, Toru Shimazaki, Helanius Wilkins, Maida Withers, Ray Schwartz, Stacy Reischman, and Mikey Thomas.

Glen earned his B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography from The University of Southern Mississippi and completed additional training internships at the American Dance Festival and Bates Dance Festival. He is a USM Dance Alumni Hall of Fame inductee and is YPAD Certified as an educator and convention administrator.

A nationally recognized teacher, choreographer, and adjudicator, Glen is the former Artistic Director of Moving Images Dance Company and former Director of Dance at John L. Leflore Magnet High School. He has served as a guest artist for George Washington University, The University of Southern Mississippi, the American College Dance Association, and the Mississippi Dance Festival, and has choreographed more than 1,000 works for studios, schools, companies, and teams nationwide.

Glen currently travels as a freelance educator and choreographer and serves as Guest Experience Manager for Amplified Productions with Adrenaline and Revive Dance Conventions, where he continues to lead the next generation of dancers.

His love for dance is the driving force in his life, his passion for educating young dancers is what keeps him happy, humble and hopeful for the future of every dancer he encounters. He believes that dance can change your life, if you let it.
